OSTEODENX TESTIMONY (Calcium Absorption)

I am a 4-1/2 year post-Bariatric surgery patient, which means that part of my intestine has been by-passed, and that can lead to mal-absorption of vital nutrients in some cases, as it did with me. My body has not been absorbing Calcium for several years, and in April 2010, I was diagnosed with Osteoporosis. A major concern, since (previous to the Bariatric surgery) I had broken my back twice, broken my ankle twice, fractured my knee and the base of my thumb already in my lifetime.
Immediately upon my diagnosis, my doctor increased my Calcium dosage to 3,300 mg. per day. By June of 2010, even this did not work, so my doctor increased the Calcium to 6,000 mg. per day.
